Specialists from the Institute of Agricultural Machinery «Mecagro» a lot of time given the experimental work related to the development and manufacture of machines for refueling sprayers. The purpose of implementing such a project is clear - to minimize travel sprayers after the end of working fluid to the point of filling, and back. So Moldavian machine for refueling sprayers has been created. Its authors, a corresponding member of Ion Hebeshesku, director of the institute, dr. of technical sciences Boris Kiku, head Laboratory machines for plant protection, Galina Lungu, chief project engineer, Vladimir Kobernik-Gurkovsky engineer designer, «dubbed» it in the language of the technicians MAS-4000.

The machine is made in the form of single-axle trailers, which are mounted on the frame plastic tanks: the basic capacity of 4000 liters, additional for concentrated solution of 500-l, as well as small for clean water of 35 liters. New development «Mecagro» hydraulic system provides high-quality washing active substance and mixing the working solution. MAS-4000 is equipped with centrifugal pump, multiplier, cardan shaft, brake system and other modern working bodies.

Currently, the Moldavian machine for refueling sprayers MAS-4000 and its authors are inspection test at the State Machine Test Station. The Institute of Agricultural Machinery «Mecagro» already prepared the necessary equipment for its implementation in production. Thus, it is expected a positive decision from the responsible public authority.

In comparison with existing analogues (Russia, Bulgaria) MAS-4000 has a 18-20% higher performance, more simple and convenient to operate the hydraulic circuit. Due to the exclusion for sprayers movement to filling point and the application of MAS-4000 reduces idle time work, respectively, increasing productivity by 30-40%.
